António Silva, Ph.D., MIMMM, is a geoscientist with broad expertise in the exploration, evaluation and extraction of critical raw materials. His experience spans mining geology, exploration geochemistry, ore petrology, mineral processing and extractive metallurgy, with work on hard-rock lithium, gold and industrial mineral projects. Dr. Silva completed his Ph.D. through a joint program at the University of Aveiro and the University of Porto in Portugal, supported by the Federal University of Ceará in Brazil, and brings valuable technical knowledge and regional experience in South America and Europe to Origen’s board.
