Brazilian Rare Earth Elements (REE) Projects

Origen holds one of the largest packages of mineral claims targeting rare earth elements (REE) in the northeastern region of Brazil. The combined area of the two REE projects is over 68,000 ha. Recognizing the potential significance of this emerging region Origen was able to acquire strategic areas through partnerships to build a diversified combination of phosphate hosted REE and clay hosted REE prospects.

Picos REE Project

Located within Piaui State, Origen has an agreement with Webert Giovan de Almeida and Associates to acquire a 90% in two prospect areas with a Right of First Refusal for an additional 5 prospect areas. The prospects in the agreement were described in a report by the SGB (Geological Survey of Brazil) and Origen is planning a program to prospect these REE mineralized phosphate and beds across their claims. The Company will also be evaluating the potential for REE enriched ionic adsorption clay mineralization adjacent to the mineralized phosphate beds.

Origen has completed a positive due diligence phase and is now preparing community engagement, environmental screening and a plan of work for the initial exploration phase.

Campo de Cima Project

Located primarily within Bahia State, Origen has entered into an agreement with Incorporada e Mineração Santa Rosa Ltda to acquire a 70% interest in a 33,075 ha package containing an ionic clay adsorption hosted or laterite hosted REE prospect.

The REE mineralization is interpreted to be hosted within lateritic profiles developed over the Rio Preto Group, a geological setting analogous to other emerging ionic clay-hosted REE deposits in Brazil, including Serra Verde (Goiás) and Caldeira (Minas Gerais). This style of REE mineralization is increasingly recognized for its potential for lower energy mining requirements, less chemically aggressive recovery, and strategic importance in the global supply of critical minerals.

Origin is currently in the Due Diligence phase of this project.
